If you are interested in teaching Budokon the first thing to understand is this: There is no one thing called "Budokon" to teach.
Explanation: Budokon®University is an institute for higher learning. Within this institute there are 3 schools that train people to teach or to simply become educated in one of the following fields of arts and science: Budokon®Yoga, Budokon®Martial Arts, and Budokon®Life Coaching. Therefore, an aspiring teacher needs to know in which field they want to become certified to teach in order to choose which school within the Budokon®University they will enter: either the Budokon school of yoga, Budokon school of martial arts, or Budokon school of life coaching
The second thing to understand about our style of Yoga, Martial Arts, and Life Coaching programs is that they are ideal for driven and disciplined people. We expect the highest level of performance from our students because we teach at the highest level. You cannot buy your black belt, your way into our University, or a yoga teaching certificate. These accreditations are earned based on performance, attitude, and mastery of curriculum. We co-create extraordinary practitioners and teachers. This, unfortunately, is not the industry standard because so many yoga studios depend on teacher training revenue to keep the doors open thereby graduating practically anyone who pays and attends the program. This is causing a massive disparity in the caliber of yoga teachers being produced these days. Do you desire to graduate because you have demonstrated extraordinary skill or because you have paid your fee and attended class regularly? You will not question how skilled you are when you graduate our program. You will know.
After reviewing the program overviews please see the chart at the very bottom.
The Budokon®Martial Arts style integrates three elements: Yoga, Martial Arts and Life Coaching. If you study this program you will learn all 3 of these systems fully until you reach the Black Belt level, at which time you will be a teacher of all 3 systems. This takes a minimum of 5 to 7 years for most people. In other words, Budokon Black Belts are qualifed and certified Budokon®Yoga, Budokon®Martial Arts and Budokon®Life Coaching teachers.
Question: Can I teach Budokon®Martial Arts before becoming a Black Belt?
Answer: Yes. At the Budokon Blue Belt level, if you qualify based on your skill sets and under specific conditions, you may be granted authority to teach Budokon®Martial Arts to the general public.
The Budokon®Yoga style integrates two elements: Yoga and Life Coaching. If you study this program you will learn both of these systems. Upon graduation of the Budokon®Yoga 200hr you will be certified as both a Budokon®Yoga Teacher and Budokon®Life Coach and will be qualifed to teach Budokon style yoga and/or Vinyasa Yoga classes.
NOTE: If you have never taught Yoga before and would like to teach Budokon style Yoga then you will enter the Budokon®Yoga 200hr Program. If you are already a Yoga teacher you will enter the Budokon 30hr program.
Question: If I want to take the Budokon®Yoga 30hr training just to improve my yoga practice and not to teach, can I?
Answer: Yes. You will not recieve a teaching certificate.
Question: If I have no Yoga teacher training may I join the 30hour program to become a Yoga teacher.
Answer: No. You must begin in the Budokon®Yoga 200hr Program. (The industry standard requires a 200hour TT course to teach Yoga to the general public)
The Budokon®Life Coaching course is perfect for yoga, mariital arts or fitness instructors who want to add the skill of life coaching to their offering. Upon graduation of this course you will be certifed as a Budokon®Life Coach.
